Dear Parents,

Kindly go through the following important information carefully:  

1. Final Assessments:

  • The Final Assessments will begin on 24 February 2020 for Junior and Middle School. These will end on 4 March 2020 for the Junior School, and on 6 March 2020 for the Middle School. Final Assessment for Classes 9 and 11 will start on 10 February 2020. These will end on 26 February 2020 for Class 9 and on 4 March 2020 for Class 11. Parents are advised not to plan journeys on the last day of the exams as, given the uncertain times we live in, unexpected developments might necessitate the rescheduling of the final exams.
  • Classes 5 to 8 should come to school on 17 March 2020, Class 9 on 5 March 2020, and Class 11 on 6 March 2020, at the usual time.  The Final Assessment answer scripts will be shown, and school will end at 3.00 p.m. for Classes 5 to 9, and at 1.20 p.m. for Class 11, on those days.

2. Result Day:

  • Pre-Nursery to Class 4: Monday, 16 March 2020, between 9.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m.
  • Classes 5 to 8:             Tuesday, 24 March 2020, between 9.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m.
  • Classes 9 and 11: Saturday, 14 March 2020, between 1.00 p.m. and 2.00 p.m.
  • Either of the parents is required to come with the fee book to collect the results of her/his child. If they are unable to, a representative may be sent with an authorization letter and the fee book of the student concerned. Report cards will be given in the respective classrooms.
  • Report Cards will not be given to students, so they need not come. If they do accompany their parents, they must be in proper school uniform.
  • The results of the Final Assessments are FINAL and will not be altered under any circumstances. The school will not entertain any discussion on this matter.

3. Withdrawal/Transfer Certificate:

  • If a parent wishes to withdraw his child from the school, she/he should apply on or before 16 March 2020.  Any parent applying after 16 March 2020 will be required to pay a month’s fee, i.e., the tuition fee for April 2020.
  • A Transfer Certificate will be issued on the receipt of a written application from the parent after payment of all school dues and Rs. 50/- for the Transfer Certificate application form.

4. ID Cards:

  • The ID cards of the children for the current academic session will be taken back by the school on the last day of the final examination.
  • If you need the ID Card for any reason, please apply before they are taken back, explaining why you need it.
  • New ID and Escort Cards (K.G. to Class 4) for 2020-2021 will be handed over to the parents on Result Day, i.e., 16 March 2020, only after the parents have handed over the Escort Cards of the current academic session to the Class Teacher on that day.
  • Reopening of School in the Academic Year 2020-2021:
  • Classes 10 and 12 will report for the new session on Monday, 16 March 2020, and follow a special time-table till 2 April 2020. Attendance is compulsory.
  • The School will re-open for Pre-Nursery & Nursery on Wednesday, 1 April 2020, and close on that day at 10.00 a.m. for Pre-Nursery, and at 10.30 a.m. for Nursery. These timings for Pre-Nursery & Nursery will continue until Thursday, 9 April 2020.
  • For K.G. to Class 9, the school will reopen on Thursday, 2 April 2020, and end on that day at 11.00 a.m. for K.G., Classes 1 & 2, and at 11.30 a.m. for Classes 3 to 9.
  • Normal classes with regular timings will resume for KG to Class 10 and 12 from Friday, 3 April 2020, and for Pre-Nursery and Nursery from Monday, 13 April 2020.

5. Attendance on Closing and Re-Opening Days:

  • Attendance on closing and re-opening days is compulsory.
  • If a student is seriously ill and cannot come to school on the re-opening day, either of his parents (not a messenger) must come to school on that day and submit an application supported by a medical certificate.
  • The names of the students who remain absent after reopening of term will be struck off the rolls on 08/04/20, and the vacancies thus created will be given to wait-listed candidates.

6. Summer Vacations 2020-2021:

  • Summer vacations will start from Saturday, 16 May 2020. The school will re-open on Monday, 15 June 2020.

7. School Shoes - A Reminder:

  • In the Academic Year 2020 – 2021, all the students, including Classes 11 and 12, will wear only the prescribed Reebok shoes available at school on working Mondays and Thursdays between 10. 30 a.m. and 12. 30 p.m. Students having SLV/Prince shoes may continue to wear them provided they are in a good condition.
  • There will be no sale of shoes between 11.00 a.m. and 11.45 a.m. due to the recess and dispersal of Pre-Nursery and Nursery children.
  • No other brand will be allowed in order to maintain uniformity.

8. Parent-Teacher Meetings:

  • Please consult page no. 27 of the School Diary of the Academic Year 2020-2021 for information on the system to be followed for Parent-Teacher meetings.

9. Contagious and Infectious Diseases:

  • Parents are advised NOT to send their children to school when they are sick or infected with contagious diseases (conjunctivitis, jaundice, mumps, chicken pox, measles, etc).

10. Sale of Books, Stationery and Uniform:

  • Textbooks, exercise books, stationery articles and the school uniform will be available from the school as per the following schedule:

  1. Those who fail to buy books, stationery and uniform for a valid reason on the dates specified above may come to school on Friday, 27 March 2020, between 9.30 a.m. and 12 noon to submit the booklists and money. The items ordered will be delivered on Saturday, 28 March 2020, from the school between 10.00 a.m. and 12.30 p.m.
  2. Parents are requested to pay the fees for the month of April 2020 before collecting the books and stationery. Parents paying the fees by cheque would be required to show the fee book while collecting books and stationery. Parents paying the fees online need not show the fee book.
