Assembly Hall
Our day starts with slokhas reverberating throughout the campus (the school has a sophisticated sound system). This creates a warm, welcoming ambience for the children when they enter the school in the morning. At morning assembly, students gather in the large and spacious assembly area where they themselves conduct the morning’s proceedings. The occasion is a lively one with students playing musical instruments like the keyboard, harmonium, and tabla to accompany the prayers, hymns and songs performed by the school choir. Children observing birthdays are given greetings cards and sweets while the gathering sings ‘Happy Birthday’. National and religious festivals are also commemorated by way of speeches, skits, and other artistic forms. After the assembly is over, the children disperse in an orderly manner to a slow marching beat.
