16th Installation Ceremony of the Interact Club of M.C.Kejriwal Vidyapeeth

Ever since its inception sixteen years ago, the Interact Club of M.C.Kejriwal Vidyapeeth has been providing our students of Classes VII- XII several opportunities to enhance personal integrity, and work in collaboration in order to make a difference in society.

Every year, a grand Installation Ceremony is organised to welcome the newly appointed Interact Club board members, and acknowledge the efforts and achievements of the previous board members who have completed their tenure. The 16th Installation Ceremony of the Interact Club of M.C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth, 'Ashayein', was organised in the school auditorium on 16 August 2022.The Chief Guest for the occasion was Past District Governor, Rotarian Rajni Mukherji . Though Mr. Mukherji could not be physically present for the event, he forwarded his best wishes for the Interactors. Special guests included Immediate Past District Governor Rtn.  Prabir Chatterjee, the District Interact Committee Chair Person (DICC) Rtn. Sulagna Daw, Rtn. Amitabh Mohan, the President of Rotary Club of Belur, and Rtn. Kishan Kumar Kejriwal, Past President of Rotary Club of Belur and Chairman of MCKV Group of Institutions. Our Headmaster, Mr. Biswajit Majumdar,  also graced the occasion.

The ceremony commenced with the national anthem, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and the invocation of Lord Ganesha through a shloka. The outgoing President,  Interactor Krish Gupta, the mantle of leadership of the Interact Club to the incoming President, Interactor Swyam Seksaria, by handing over the prestigious collar pin. The annual bulletin of the club, Awakening, chronicling the outstanding  service of the club in the year 2021-2022, was released followed by a presentation by Krish Gupta. Reposing faith and trust, on behalf of all dignitaries present, IPDG Rtn. Prabir Chatterjee, handed over the Interact Club Charter to Swyam. The audience was taken on a virtual tour, by the newly appointed club President, unravelling the projects that the Interact Club plans to take up this scholastic year.

It was inspiring to hear our guests address our Interactors. The spectacular dance performance and the unconventional musical presentation by the Interactors deserve a special mention. The event concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by the Secretary of the Interact Club, Tushar Khandelwal, and the meeting was adjourned by the President, Swaym Seksaria.
