17th Installation Ceremony of the Interact Club of M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth

The Interact Club of M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth organized Ashayein, its 17th Installation Ceremony on 3 October 2023, to welcome the newly appointed Interact Club board members as well as acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of the members who have completed their tenure.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was District Interact Committee Chairperson, Rotarian Apala Datta. Special guests included Mr Amar Kr. Malhotra, President of the Rotary Club of Belur, and Rotarian Piyush Doshi, Event Chair and Director, PR Committee of Rotary Club of Belur. The event was also graced by Director, Mr Neelkantha Gupta and Trustee, Mr Abhay Kejriwal, MCKV
The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by our guests as the auditorium resonated with the chanting of the 'Ganesh Vandana'. The event also saw the release of The Awakening, the annual newsletter of the club.
Itr. Swyam Seksaria, through his presentation, took the audience on a tour of the achievements of the club in the session 2022-23. The torch of leadership was passed on to the new President, Itr. Pratham Baid, as the outgoing President, Itr. Swyam Seksaria, handed over the collar pin to his successor. Rotarian Apala Dutta, District Interact Committee Chairperson, conferred the Interact Club Charter on Pratham Baid also. The introduction of the new team for 2023-24 was greeted with a thunderous applause. Our Director and Trustee pinned the badges of office to the newly appointed board members formally entrusting the team with the responsibility of leading the club. President, Itr. PrathamBaid, unravelled the new ventures that the club has decided to undertake in this scholastic session.
While our Chief Guest, Rotarian Apala Datta, in her address highlighted the story of the origin of the Interact Club, its purpose and relevance in the society and encouraged our young Interactors to take up challenging projects even at the international level, our Director and Special Guest, Mr Amar Malhotra, in their speeches congratulated and motivated the club members to continue their good work.
The dance presentation by the students deserves a special mention. The prize distribution ceremony for the Sit and Draw Competition, organized by the Rotary Club of Belur in collaboration with the Interact Club of MCKV, for the students of the school, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, added to the spirit of celebration. The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Secretary, Itr. Piyush Agarwal.
Our heartiest congratulations to the new team and best wishes as the club continues to provide opportunities for students of Classes 7 to 12 to engage in meaningful social work.
