25th Foundation Day Celebration

“Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.”
And M.C.Kejriwal Vidyapeeth has been stroking this fire of curiosity and wonderment, perpetually present in young minds, ever since its inception in 1997. MCKV has an unwavering belief in education rooted in creativity, values, and intellectual curiosity. The year 2021 is a special year for us as this year we kick off the celebrations of our quadranscentennial anniversary. And what better day to flag off the celebrations than the 25th Foundation day.
On 15th June 2021, the school celebrated its Foundation Day over virtual platform,adhering to social distancing norms in view of the ongoing pandemic. Having welcomed our Guests of Honour, Mr. Saroj Srivastava, Principal Agrasain Girls’ High School, Mr. Abhijit Lahiri, Principal M.C.Kejriwal Institute of Engineering, Mr. Bitan Biswas, Principal Madhusthali Vidyapeeth and our former Principal, Mr. Neelkanth Gupta, on this light bedecked morning, the celebration began on an auspicious note by lighting of the ceremonial lamp by our Chairman, Shree Kishan Kumar Kejriwal, Headmistress, Ms. Mallika Mukherjee&other dignitaries. This was followed by a jaunty tune, which welcomed all of those attending, in its warm embrace.
Mystical and majestic, trees witness our evolution and that of the planet around us.
Keeping this in view, the school had organised a symbolic tree planting ceremony which serves to highlight the hope that as we nurture and protect this tree to grow deep roots and sprout strong branches, MCKV too shall continue to grow in academic strength and reputation, like a well-rooted tree spreading its limbs and leaves upward and outward. The festivities were further infused with a dream-like quality when our honourable Chairman Sir, Shree Kishan Kumar Kejriwal in his address to the community, shared a narrative which reflected the vigorous growth of the school spanning twenty-four glorious years. Next presentation to enthral the audience was a mellifluous instrumental rendition by our young proteges.
Nature is God’s most beautiful creation. It facilitates the growth, development and nourishment of all its creatures. With this in view, MCKV set a unique trend by felicitating its teachers, whose names were proclaimed to honour them on the completion of their 10 and 15 years of assiduous service in this reputed institution, with a sapling each. Few teachers shared some fun and touching experiences, indelibly printed on their minds, with the eager audience members. Next, our talented students tapped into the mystery of the Universe by matching their footsteps with the rhythm of the five elements of nature, the “Pancha Maha Bhootas”.
The school logo is a representation of the school’s history, culture and tradition. It is a symbol of pride for a student which stays with him for the rest of his life. On the successful completion of glorious twenty-four years of service in the field of education, MCKV launched its school logo to commemorate 25 years of its existence. What deserves special mention is the eye-catching magic of the animated version of the logo which blazed the screen.

The students harped on this timeless message of peace through their heart rending and hypnotic rendition. The programme drew to a close with a vote of thanks, spelled by Headmistress Ma’am, Ms. Mallika Mukherjee, to all who had made the cultural extravaganza a sweet memory to cherish and to others on successful completion of academic session 2020-2021. To sum up, the entire celebration can be best described as a cornucopia of excitement to be treasured throughout our lifetime.
