75th Republic Day Celebration

M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth celebrated the 75th Republic Day with zeal and patriotic fervour. The programme commenced with the ceremonial march past and unfurling of the tricolour by Mr Kishan Kumar Kejriwal, Chairman, MCKV Group of Institutions, in the presence of Dr Parthasarathi Chakraborty, CEO, MCKV Group of Institutions, Mr Neelkantha Gupta, Director, MCKV, Dr Abhijit Lahiri, Principal, MCKVIE, Mr Abhay Kejriwal, Trustee, Ms Mallika Mukherjee, Principal, and Mr Biswajit Majumdar, Headmaster. An invigorating speech by our Chairman impressed on the idea of upholding and glorifying the ideals of unity, honour, integrity and diversity of our nation. The stage was brought alive with a passionate speech by Lakshaya Sharma, the School Vice-Captain, who spoke on the significance of this historic day in the lives of all Indians and the necessity to become the ideal citizens of our country.

One of the highlights of the programme was the felicitation of Hitesh Kumar Bhuwalka of Class 12B by the Chairman and other dignitaries in recognition of his world-class expertise in Speedcubing and receiving the prestigious Telegraph Online Edugraph 18 Under 18 Award 2024.

The Chairman along with the other dignitaries honoured the prize winners of various co-curricular activities conducted in the present academic session. Eulogising the kaleidoscopic variety and rich cultural heritage of India as well as paying tribute to the great leaders and martyrs of the nation, the school choir enraptured the audience with a soulful rendition of the patriotic song ‘Eidesh, eidesh amar’.
