Bake a Cake: Bagless Day Activity for Class 7

A bakery workshop was conducted for the students of Class 7 on 9 and 10 August 2023 as part of the bagless day activity for the students of Classes 6 to 8 as recommended by NEP 2020.

The atrium was filled with the delightful aroma of dark chocolate and vanilla. The students thoroughly enjoyed the experience of making chocolate waffles and choco chip cakes. The workshop was conducted by Ms Shampa Mukherjee who has extensive experience in making confectionery delights.

The bakery workshop gave our students the opportunity to learn hands-on baking skills, explore different baking methods, and create a variety of baked goods. It was a great way to develop creativity, teamwork, and an understanding of the science behind baking. To top it all, they even got to enjoy their efforts' tasty results.
