The Department of History organised‘ Excelling realms of possibilities: Be a Change Agent’ – a webinar on Career Guidance in Legal Studies, Archaeology and Research, and possible scopes of Political Science on 12th November,2021, from 3:30 p.m. onwards.
The first panelist for the webinar was one of our beloved ex- students, Prathit Singh, who passed out in the year 2018, and is presently working as a Child Rights Activist and a Research intern at the Council for Strategic and Defence and Research.
Akash Ganguly, our second panelist, an alumnus of MCKV (ISC 2015),working as an Advocate of Calcutta High Court, discussed at length the various possibilities of legal studies.
The other speakers in the event, Rituparna Dutta and Suvechha Ganguly, explored the innumerable scopes of studying History and Political Science, thus motivating the audience to re-evaluate the conventional myths around Humanities and consider it as a future option of study.
