Business Bites: Food Fest by the MCKV Business Enterprise Team

Prayas, the student-led business enterprise project by M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth, is a platform designed to cultivate practical business acumen among the students of Classes 11 and 12. An integral part of this initiative is the annual mini-food fest that serves as a fundraiser for the enterprise.

On 23 August 2023, team Prayas organized a fun-filled food fiesta for the students of Classes 5 and 6. Our students spearheaded the entire event, from conceptualizing to executing. The team members assumed diverse responsibilities while some were involved in the ground work, a few took charge as chefs and others were involved in financial management and sales.

Our young buyers absolutely loved the delicious offerings including Papri Chat, Sandwiches, Dhokla, Cupcakes, and Lemonade. The game corners added the fun element to the fest and was a great success among the customers.

With experiential learning taking a centre stage in today's education, organising this food fest was a remarkable simulation in entrepreneurship and helped our boys explore their skills in management, collaboration, financial accountability and even customer interaction.
