DURGA PUJA CELEBRATIONS AT MCKV, 2024
Published on: 07 Oct 2024
Durgotsav in M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth was celebrated with great pomp and joy. On 5 October 2024, the staff members presented a graceful Agomoni programme in Malay Manch. The programme featured soulful renditions invoking Goddess Durga and enthusiastic dance performances to enhance the spirit of the celebration. The joy of celebration reverberated in the hearts of all as everyone matched their feet to the pulsating beats of dhak.
The morning assembly on 7 October 2024 saw exuberant students present a soulful pujo song and dhunuchi dance as the atrium resonated to the rhythms of Sharodiya. The highlight of the assembly was the Durga stotryo recital by the students of Pre-Primary wing.
The celebrations continued for our Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Kindergarten students as the little ones dressed in new and colourful clothes and took part in class parties where they prepared popular street foods like chaat and jhalmuri. To give a feel of pandal hopping, students were taken to the reception area where a makeshift idol of Goddess Durga was put up by the Art Department. Students of Classes 1 and 2 designed beautiful cards adding to the festivity.
Parents of Nursery were exclusively invited for a special pujo programme where mothers danced with Dhunuchis and dhaaks played at the backdrop in the school basketball court.
Let the spirit of Durga Puja continue to shine brightly, fostering unity and positivity in the upcoming days for the MCKV family.
