Educational Trip to Purulia

Educational trips have been a part of the MCKV curriculum ever since its inception. After a gap of two years, the school organised the much-awaited annual educational trip for the boys. The trip was planned to kindle the spirit of adventure among the students, take them out of their comfort zones, and introduce them to a new way of life. Our students of Classes 9 & 11 had their first experience in rock climbing, hiking, and camping at the Gajaburu Hills in Purulia district, West Bengal from 23 to 25 December 2022.

 52 students, under the supervision of teachers and certified instructors, camped at the picturesque foothills of Gajaburu. The camping experience fostered in them a spirit of camaraderie, self-discipline, confidence and courage.

The magnificent view of the Gajaburu hills amidst Mother Nature added to the entire experience. On Christmas Eve, a special campfire was arranged at the campsite. At the end of the trip, our boys went home having garnered an experience of a lifetime.
