Green Day in M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth

On 20 December 2023, students of M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth observed Green Day, a special occasion to commemorate the life and contributions of Sri Nabarun De on his 59th birth anniversary.

On this occasion, students of Classes 3, 4 and 5 participated in a unique fashion show where they showcased their creativity by designing dresses using sustainable and recyclable materials.

Students of Class 7 brought to life their vision of a sustainable habitat through a model-making activity in the classrooms.

The day also saw our Interactors of Class 11 taking part in a plantation drive in the school neighbourhood.

These activities throughout the day enabled our students to realize that the world can thrive and flourish without depleting natural resources. Besides helping protect natural resources, these environment-friendly sustainable practices can help mitigate and adapt to climate change and promote biodiversity.
