Independence Day Celebrations by Foundational Stage Children of MCKV

Published on: 16 Aug 2024

Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth by our junior most students on 16 August 2024. It was a day filled with joy, excitement, and     learning for our students, as our young students celebrated  the true essence of independence through a lively cultural programme and class room activities.

The programme began with a welcome speech by our little emcees of Kindergarten. Chairman, Mr Kishan Kumar Kejriwal in his address highlighted the need to make children independent in their day-to-day activities. The short programme featured a patriotic song, a skit, and a dance performance which was much appreciated by the audience.

Dressed up in traditional and tri-colour themed outfits, our students of Pre-Primary wing, looked bright and vibrant as they engaged in projects such as colouring the national flag, flower dabbing on the national flag and making other tri-colour crafts which promoted national unity and pride. The role play on famous freedom fighters gave our students a chance to revisit the journey traversed by the country to gain independence.
