As part of the Independence Day 2024 celebrations, Indian Museum organized a special project aimed at fostering creativity and patriotism among school children. This unique initiative included an online badge-making workshop, conducted on 12 August 2024, by experts associated with Indian Museum.
The workshop was attended by students and teachers from 15 selected schools across Kolkata and Howrah, including M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth.
Thirty enthusiastic students of Classes 7 to 9 participated in the workshop. The highlight of the project was the selection of two students, Anik Dutta (9E)and Jishnu Bag (8D) to represent the school at a prestigious event held at Raj Bhavan on the evening of 15 August 2024. These students had the rare honour of pinning the badges they made on the dignitaries assembled in the event. Mr Biswajit Majumdar, Headmaster, was also a part of the programme at Raj Bhavan.
