Janmasthami Celebrations by the Pre-Primary Wing
Published on: 18 Aug 2022
M.C.Kejriwal Vidyapeeth holds traditions very close to its heart. We take pride in nurturing students into individuals who are deeply connected to their roots and culture. Krishna Janmashtami has always been an occasion of joy and mirth, as the day is symbolic of a new beginning and raises hope that good will overpower evil.
The Pre-Primary students celebrated Janmashtami on 18 August 2022 with great fervour. Dressed up as little Kanhas (Lord Krishna) and his Sakhas (friends), our little stars created an aura of festivity, colour, myths and traditions. A short cultural programme was presented by the little MCKVians. The junior choir sang the melodious ‘Choti-choti gaiya’. Children were shown a short video presentation on the fascinating story of Krishna's birth. The lively audience added to the joyous spirit by joining the participants in the concluding foot-tapping dance.
Our boys of the Foundational Stage were gifted with a pot of ‘ Makhan Mishri’ as a souvenir.
It was a joyful learning experience for the children. Besides fun and frolic, our students learnt life-long lessons on being and doing good.
