Learn, Unlearn and Relearn: Leadership Training Programme

On 27 April 2024, a senior leadership training session was conducted by Ms Sananda Paul, Counselling Psychologist and Image Consultant at the New Kenilworth Hotel, Kolkata. The training was specifically designed for the Academic Co-ordinators, Heads of Departments, and  Headmasters of schools under the MCKV Group of Institutions.

The session commenced with the welcoming and felicitation of Ms Paul by Mr Kishan Kumar Kejriwal, Chairman, MCKV Group of Institutions, Mr Biswajit Majumdar , Headmaster and Ms Sanchita Sarkar, Secondary Stage Co-ordinator, MCKV, followed by an introductory session. The workshop covered a wide range of topics like Vocal and Verbal Communications, Emotional Intelligence, Leadership Skills and finally Time and Stress Management. Through fun activities and real-life anecdotes, practical solutions were offered to enhance effective communication in professional settings, along with equipping attendees with tools and mechanisms to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Participants were encouraged to understand and manage their emotions as well as empathize with their team members.

The eight hour long session culminated with each member musing on their learning experiences and a vote of thanks proposed by Mr Rajesh Sahani, Headmaster,  Madhusthali Vidyapeeth, Madhupur, Jharkhand.

The fruitful session, conceptualized by the School Management, was a perfect platform to enhance the leadership capabilities of the members of MCKV and MV empowering them to excel in their respective roles as leaders.
