Learning Management System: An Initiative by the Geography Department of M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth

The Department of Geography of M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth plans to offer a unique learning experience for the students by connecting to the Learning Management System (LMS),an online platform launched by SwitchOn Foundation as a part of environment week initiatives.

Students of Classes 7 and 8 attended an introductory session in Malay Manch on 29 April 2024 conducted by  SwitchOn Foundation on various courses offered under the system to raise awareness on circular economy, energy management and eco-friendly products. A concise overview was provided on how the platform operates, including navigation instructions and details about available courses, modules, and content.

The courses aim to strengthen students' understanding of environmental issues, encourage sustainable practices and engage students in environmental conservation efforts.

Excitement among the students to take on the new challenge was clearly evident. The educational games and assessment tools used in the modules inspired the students to enrol for the virtual courses. We hope that this educative exposure would enhance a sense of social accountability and moral responsibility towards the environment among our students.
