Liquidity Ventures: An Ultimate Test of Entrepreneurial Skills

With the advent of globalization, technological advances, corporate culture and the rise of small companies, India is a home to many budding innovators and entrepreneurs. In a first-of-its-kind attempt, the Commerce Department of M.C.Kejriwal Vidyapeeth organised Liquidity Ventures on 20 January 2023 with the intent of enkindling the spark of entrepreneurship and ingenuity among our students.  The school Audio-Visual room almost resembled the set of the widely acclaimed television show Shark Tank, where our budding business owners pitched in their business proposals to investors (in this case judges).

The almost two-hour long competition indeed deserves an applause. It was an absolute delight to see our boys try to convince our panel of judges, deliberate on the pros and cons of their business ventures and try to skilfully dodge the volley of questions shot at them. The six teams were judged on the basis of their knowledge regarding their product, the financial aspects of their business, and their influencing skills.

The competition was a brilliant manifestation of team work, passion, strength of character, originality of ideas and the gift of the gab. The show indeed had the much-desired effect on the audience, for by the end of it, all our students were found pondering over their own start-up plans.
