MCKV boys reach out
Published on: 02 Dec 2022
By helping others in their times of plight, we attain a sense of purpose and fulfillment far beyond what our self- indulgent motives can render.
The values of generosity and empathy are ingrained in MCKV students right from their formative years. A beautiful reflection of the same was witnessed by all of us, when Sreejit Dey and Promit Banerjee of Class 11A acted as writers for a student of Ramakrishna Mission Shilpamandira during his end-semester exam.
Sunit Kumar Samanta had suffered major injuries in an accident that made it impossible for him to write his exams. Thanks to Sreejit and Promit, he was able to complete all the papers.
Swami Vedatitananda, Correspondent, RKM Shilpa Mandira, dropped in at school and personally thanked Sreejit and Promit for their laudable efforts. Swami ji presented the boys with a portrait each of Swami Vivekanand.
Our boys, too, gathered invaluable experience by visiting the revered institution and helping a fellow student.
We hope they carry this generous spirit with them all their lives and keep on spreading joy and warmth in the lives of everyone around.
