MCKV celebrates its 27th Foundation Day

On June 17, 2023, M.C.Kejriwal Vidyapeeth celebrated its 27th foundation day, a day when the entire MCKV family had a chance to look back fondly on its amazing journey since its inception.

The day brought home a beautiful concurrence of our annual prize distribution and a short musical marvel. The Chief Guest for the day was Mr. Azar Zia, Additional District Magistrate, Howrah, and the Guest of Honour was Dr. Sayan Bhattacharya, Education Officer, Indian Museum, Kolkata. The Ganesh Stuti presented by the school choir set the tone for the day’s programme. Our Chairman, Mr. Kishan Kumar Kejriwal, in his speech shared the success story of this remarkable institution and encouraged the students to better themselves in every possible way. The various cultural programmes -  for example, the synchronized dance performance and the instrumental presentation - added myriad hues to the day’s event.

The main attraction was the Annual Prize Distribution ceremony, an event in which students across all levels were given due recognition under various categories for excellence in academics in the session 2022-2023. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the prize distribution of the ISC and ICSE toppers of 2023. The outstanding performances of Siddharth Kumar Dugar (99.5%) in the ISC 2023 and Monu Kumar Yadav (99.2%) in the ICSE 2023 added a special dazzle to the event.

Our ever-inspiring Management did not fall short of lauding and felicitating the teachers who have completed 10 and 15 years of dedicated service in this institution. The unveiling of the Annual School Magazine “Voyage” by the Chief Guest, Mr.Azar Zia, was the other attraction of the day.                      

The speech by Mr. Azar Zia ignited the minds of our young achievers and encouraged them to continue dreaming big. The day’s event drew to a close with the vote of thanks proposed by our Principal, Ms. Mallika Mukherjee, followed by the school anthem.

The memories of this special day will resonate in our hearts and minds for days to come.
