MCKV Celebrates Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam Part 2: A Journey Across Cultures

On November 16, 2024,  M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth organized the second edition of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, an immersive cultural exhibition celebrating global diversity and interconnectedness. 
The exhibition was inaugurated by Principal, Mrs Sharmilee Bandopadhyay, in the presence of CEO, Dr Parthasarathi Chakraborty, Director, Mr Neelkantha Gupta, Headmaster, Mr Biswajit Majumdar, and the MCKV parent community.
With the atrium transformed into a dynamic cultural showcase, visitors were taken on a captivating tour across the USA, South Korea, the UAE, and South Africa.
Director Neelkantha Gupta, in his address extended warm wishes and urged parents and students to  explore and learn more about the world around them. CEO, Dr Parthasarathi Chakraborty in his addressed accentuated the concept of the whole universe as one family. Principal, Ms Sharmilee Bandopadhyay celebrated the school’s commitment to experiential learning through the exhibition where our students truly emerged as global citizens.
The opening ceremony  also included a series of engaging performances like a traditional song by the South Korean team, an Arabic dance by the UAE team, a martial arts display from South Korea, and a lively cowboy dance from the USA to name a few.
Additionally, the food stalls set up in the canteen served authentic cuisine from each country, adding a delightful culinary dimension to the cultural exploration.
The exhibition featured intricately crafted booths, each highlighting the unique cultural heritage of the chosen nations as varied as Walt Disney characters, the BTS band, the majestic  Burj Khalifa or the live safari in the jungles of South Africa. 
Our Chairman, Mr Kishan Kumar Kejriwal and Trustee, Mr Abhay Kejriwal graced the exhibition in the later half.
Through Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam Part 2, MCKV reaffirmed its commitment to a globally inclusive education, preparing students to contribute positively to a multicultural world. The beautiful event culminated with a vote of thanks by Ms Aparna Ghosal, IDS Coordinator.
