MCKV celebrates World Earth Day 2023

On Earth Day 2023, the students of M.C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth renewed their pledge to spread awareness of the importance of conserving our environment and making this world a happier and healthier place. The entire school celebrated World Earth Day on 21 April 2023 by taking part in various online classroom activities, in alignment with the 2023 global theme ‘Let's Invest in Our Planet’,  thus drawing attention to the need of investing in our planet for a sustainable future.

While students of Classes 5 and 6  promoted the concept of ‘Green Foodprint’ by exhibiting a healthy and plant-based diet to fight climate change with diet change, students of Classes 7 and 8 set water bowls all around their homes for weary and thirsty birds as an act of compassion.

Class 7 students, in an endeavour to make our planet greener, planted seed jars. They will continue to nurture these plants, adding to our green resources.

Classes 8 to 10 designed arresting comic quotes and illustrations for Earth Day based on the theme of sustainable environment and shared them in their online classes, thus demonstrating their responsibility towards Mother Earth.

We do hope that our tiny efforts will create a difference in society. Let us build a green and prosperous future together.
