MUSIC THERAPY SESSION FOR THE STUDENTS OF MCKV

Published on: 20 Jun 2024

Music is the essence of life, and what better time to celebrate its power than World Music Day. MCKV celebrated this special occasion on 20 June 2024 by organising an engaging session on music therapy for the selected students of Classes 9 to 12.

Music therapy is a powerful tool that uses rhythm and melody to improve focus, reduce stress, enhance mental health, and boost memory retention and also build confidence and self-esteem among students. The session was conducted by Ms Dhara Raja, eminent energy transformation coach, professional energy healer, an access bars facilitator and a psychological therapist.

The music therapy session was specifically designed to help our students manage stress and anxiety simultaneously improving concentration. Different types of music were played to evoke different sentiments and emotions in the minds of the attendees. While expressing these emotions, they let go off their negativity. Throughout the session, Ms Raja focused on harnessing the power of healing energy to promote mental, emotional and physical wellbeing. The session ended with a meditation providing a much-needed break and rejuvenated our students.
