Orientation Programme for Class 11 (2024 – 2025)

M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth organized an orientation programme for the students of Class 11 on 10 June 2024. The event aimed at welcoming the fresh batch of Class 11, initiating them to the institutional rules and practices, and inculcating in them the ethos and culture of M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth.

The day started with Piyush Jha, Beta House Captain, Arya Vardhan Pandey, Theta House Captain, and Varun Agarwal, Alpha House Prefect welcoming the gathering. This was followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Dr Ajanta Paul, Principal and Secretary of Women’s Christian College, Kolkata, Mr Neelkantha Gupta, Director, Mrs Mallika Mukherjee, Principal, Mr Biswajit Majumdar, Headmaster, graced the occasion.

Mr Neelkantha Gupta, Director, termed the event as a ‘rite of passage’ for the students and encouraged them to think and behave responsibly and consciously take decisions in life.

Dr Ajanta Paul, our key note speaker, underlined the need to make education a vibrant process by expanding the frontier of knowledge, exploring dreams, thinking critically, and solving problems creatively. Her words left an indelible impression on all attendees.

Students were taken on a virtual tour of the school. This segment showcased the school’s state-of-the-art facilities, outstanding academic records, and various accolades in co-curricular and extracurricular activities, setting an inspiring tone for the new entrants. The school’s Interact Club, the NCC team, Business Enterprise team and the IAYP team also made their individual presentations encouraging students to be a part of their outstanding journey.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms Sanchita Sarkar, Secondary Stage Coordinator.

At the end of the two hour-long inspiring session, the students felt geared up to make the most of the possibilities offered by the school and add meaning to their lives as they begin the most challenging phase of their school life.
