Orientation Programme For Class XI

In an attempt to familiarize the new batch of Class XI with the MCKV way of life, introduce them to the rules, regulations and practices followed in MCKV, and inculcate in them the ethos and culture of the institution, an orientation programme was organized on 12 June 2023 in the school auditorium.

Students were warmly welcomed to the MCKV family by the Secondary Stage Coordinator, Ms Sanchita  Sarkar in her address. The Chief Guest for the day was Mr Amitabh Mohan, a renowned psychologist, Founder & MD, HLS India. As always, Sir with his exuberance and priceless life mantras, added a sparkle to the event. With his unique analogies he successfully conveyed to the boys the benefits of smart work at the right time and with the right people. Our Chairman, Mr. Kishan Kumar Kejriwal, in his speech highlighted the need to be good human beings in life.  Mr.Neelkantha Gupta, our Director,  motivated the students about living life consciously and not compulsively. He advised our young audience to be open to the infinite possibilities that life offers us.  Students were taken on a virtual tour of the school, it’s achievements and glories, through a presentation by the Secondary Stage Coordinator. Boys were also briefed on the different initiatives that are taken up in MCKV with the intent of preparing our students for life- namely the Interact Club, the NCC, IAYP and the Business Enterprise.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms Gargi Mukherjee, Assistant Secondary Stage Coordinator.

At the end of the hour long session,  our students were provided with a clear picture of the journey that lay ahead them. Besides forging stronger ties with the school, the session also provided them with an opportunity to introspect and inspired them to become better human beings.
