Pre-Primary Wing of M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth Celebrates Janmashtami

On 7 September 2023, little MCKVians celebrated Krishna Janmashtami with great mirth and enthusiasm. It is an opportunity to imbibe the timeless teachings of Lord Krishna and celebrate our roots and traditions.

A splendid drama was staged by the students of the Pre-Primary wing depicting the birth of Lord Krishna raising hopes that good will overpower evil. Children dressed in bright hues of yellow as young Krishna, his friends (Sakhas), Radha, complete with flutes, peacock feathers and matkas enhanced the spirit of festivity. The joyous songs and dance performances reflected a beautiful blend of cultural vibrancy, colours, spirituality, myths and tradition.

Aligning with the school’s vision and mission statement, the celebration was truly a joyful learning experience. Besides the excitement and euphoria, our students garnered invaluable lessons from the celebration.
