Street Play on Water Conservation Under RIDS Initiative

As part of the Recognition of an International Dimension in Schools (RIDS) initiative, students of Classes 4 and 5 presented a powerful street play titled “Jal Ki Kahani, Hamari Zubani” on 28 November 2025. The performance highlighted the urgent need for water conservation through simple yet impactful scenes.

Using engaging dialogues and relatable situations, the young actors showed how everyday carelessness leads to water waste and scarcity. They also promoted responsible practices such as judicious water use, rainwater harvesting, and community awareness. Their expressive portrayal of the water crisis and its future consequences left a lasting impact on the audience.

Blending creativity with a strong social message, the play served as an inspiring reminder that protecting every drop of water is not just important—it is essential for our future.
