The Wellness Centre of M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth hosted a session for Class 6 students

"Managing Your Emotions," on 1 October 2024. The session aimed to equip students with skills to recognize and manage their emotions, enhancing their emotional intelligence and well-being. A fun activity where students got a chance to explore their emotions acted as an ice-breaker and initiated a compelling discussion on myriads of emotions that we experience. Mr Amitabh Mohan, renowned psychologist, and School Counsellor, Ms Mousumi Chowdhury suggested techniques for managing emotions, such as meditation, journaling, or confiding in a trusted adult. Students developed a better understanding of their emotions after attending the session. We look forward to students adopting the strategies learnt in their everyday life.
