Trade Tidbits : A Food Fest by MCKV Business Enterprise Team

Every year the team Prayas, the student led business enterprise of M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth, organizes a food fest to raise the seed money for successfully running the enterprise all year round.

This year on 31 July 2024,  the food fiesta was organized especially for the students of Class 5. Our senior most students of Classes 11 and 12 took all the responsibilities associated with the fest, right from planning the basics, buying ingredients to preparing the delicious titbits, selling them, and simultaneously managing the accounts, they truly outshone themselves in every aspect. The items sold in the fete were Papri Chat, Sandwich, Dhokla, Cupcakes and beverages. Apart from the food stalls, several games stations were also set up which included Tumble down , Spin the Wheel, Dart, Coin in a Bucket and Balls n' Buckets. The true success story of the fest was reflected in the smiles of our young customers.

The fiesta exemplified how effective experiential learning can be. The experience gathered would prove invaluable to our students as they prepare for their future roles as entrepreneurs.
