Unwind and Create: A Painting Workshop for Parents

On 23 November 2024, MCKV hosted Unwind and Create, a painting workshop for the parents of Pre-Nursery to Class 5 at MCKVIE basketball ground. This unique initiative offered parents a chance to relax, connect, and bond in a joyful setting while exploring their artistic side. Guided by a trained artist, Ms Debjani Dakshit Dasgupta, participants unleashed their creativity, producing vibrant artworks and fostering a sense of community.

Principal, Ms Sharmilee Bandopadhyay, applauded the enthusiastic participation, commending mothers for carving out "me time" and fathers for embracing the therapeutic art experience. Headmaster, Mr Biswajit Majumdar, too, emphasized the school’s commitment to nurturing strong parent-school partnerships.

The beautiful morning concluded with Chairman, Mr Kishan Kumar Kejriwa  l, delivering a vote of thanks. The event exemplified the school’s dedication to holistic development by strengthening parent engagement and promoting creative expression in a warm, welcoming environment.
