Van Mahotsav Celebration in MCKV

Joining in the pan-India celebration of Van Mahotsav, the students of the Preparatory Stage of M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth dedicated the first week of July to raising awareness about tree plantation and practising eco-friendly ways to conserve the environment.

The school was abuzz with a variety of activities spanning the entire week. While Class 5 students were engaged in planting saplings and decorating their classrooms with potted plants, boys of Class 4 designed thought-provoking posters drawing attention to the need of safeguarding nature. Along with the celebration, Class 3 students were introduced to the concept of germination through hands-on practice. The learning curve continued as our young environmentalists pledged to take care of their own pots and nurture the seeds into plants. Interactive sessions were conducted for the boys emphasizing on the necessity to preserve the environment before it is too late.

The week-long celebration has indeed enhanced a sense of social accountability and moral responsibility in our students. Together we can make the world a greener place to live in.
