A day with the residents of Dwijaraj Old Age Home

A society is always measured by how it cares for its elderly citizens, and MCKV takes great pride in the fact that we have been able to nurture sensitive and responsible individuals, who not only respect the elderly members of our community, but also take it upon themselves to reach out to these, otherwise, neglected souls and create a happier space for them.

The Interact Club of M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth organised a visit to Dwijaraj Old Age Home at Panihati on 30th April 2022 . The students spent quality time with the inmates of the home. Boys sang songs, recited poems and engaged in heart-to- heart conversations, much to everyone’s delight. The residents were treated to a delicious traditional breakfast. Bringing a smile on the faces of the elderly, the Interactors came back with a promise to revisit them.

It was a day to remember not only by the residents of the home, but also for our boys who got the opportunity to share wonderful moments of bliss and joy with their senior friends.
