A Heartfelt Farewell to Kanai Sir

A heartfelt farewell ceremony was organised at M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth on 8 September 2026 to honour Mr Kanai Shankar Manna, Senior Tabla Teacher, on the occasion of his retirement. Since joining the school in 2004, Kanai Sir has served the institution with unwavering dedication and sincerity, touching the lives of generations of students. He imparted not only the art of tabla but also a deep love and appreciation for music.

As a mark of love and respect, Principal, Mr Biswajit Majumdar, and School Headmistresses, Ms Gargi Mukherjee, Ms Keka Mukherjee and HR Manager on behalf of the Management felicitated Sir. 

The thoughtful words of Principal Sir and Ms Debasmita Sarkar, Head of Music Department, left everyone emotional. Manna Sir, as he was lovingly addressed by students and colleagues, expressed his gratitude and heartfelt wishes for the institution. The school family wishes him a happy, healthy and fulfilling retired life.
