Beyond the Career Curtain – Let’s Explore the Uncharted

M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth organised a Humanities Stream Career Counselling Programme, “Beyond the Career Curtain – Let’s Explore the Uncharted,” on 28 September 2026 in the AV Hall for the Economic Applications, Commercial Applications and Physical Education students of Classes 9 and 10.

The programme aimed to broaden students’ understanding of the Humanities stream and introduce them to the diverse academic and professional pathways available beyond conventional career choices. Through a series of subject-wise presentations, students explored the relevance and career potential of English, Bengali, Hindi, History, Geography, Political Science and Psychology.

The sessions highlighted a wide range of possibilities in areas such as law, civil services, psychology, journalism, media and communication, international relations, public policy, research, education, design, content creation, heritage and museum studies, tourism, urban studies, social research, behavioural sciences, languages and other emerging interdisciplinary fields.

By presenting both familiar and lesser-known career avenues, the event encouraged students to look beyond the traditional perceptions of Humanities and recognise its relevance in a rapidly evolving professional world.

The programme was honoured by the gracious presence of the Director Sir and the Senior HM Ma’am.
