Crafts and Flavours: A unique online History Exhibition

Published on: 26 Jan 2022

Breaking the myths that are normally associated with History classes among students, the Department of History, M.C.Kejriwal Vidyapeeth, organised a novel virtual exhibition entitled ‘Crafts and Flavours’ on 25th January, 2022. The students of the middle stage took us all on a stimulating journey back to the ancient and medieval ages. The exhibits displayed in this unique exhibition were not only restricted to historical artefacts, but also our young chefs presented a spectacular array of traditional non-fire cooked food items.

The exhibition was a perfect manifestation of interdisciplinary learning. While researching the past, our students explored their culinary skills and gathered invaluable knowledge about the culture, habits and traditions of people from all over the world. The winners of the exhibition  were- Bhavisya Singhania for his magnificent model on Kalinga War and Mayank Mishra for his impeccable display in the non-fire cooking segment of the exhibition. It was truly a priceless learning experience for our students.
