Food, Fun & Learning

The concept of education has undergone a massive overhaul with the turn of the century. Focus today is more on experiential learning whereby students not only actively engage in activities, but also reflect on those activities. Our school Business Enterprise project is one such programme designed to provide our students of Classes XI and XII with a wide exposure and first-hand knowledge about the nuances of running a business.

Every year the team organizes a Food Fest to collect the seed money for successfully running the business all year round.

On 10 August 2022, the team organised a food fiesta for the students of Classes 5 and 6. Right from the word go, our senior-secondary boys took it upon themselves to organise an event that  would be a runaway success. Be it planning the fest, or buying the ingredients, preparing the delectable treats, selling and finally accounting, all responsibilities were shouldered by the team members.

The items sold in the fete- Papri Chat, Aloo Chat, Corn Chat, Juice, Ice-cream were a winner with our young customers.

The event was a life-long learning experience for our boys. Like always, the school has provided a distinctive  opportunity for our students as they  prepare themselves for their roles as future entrepreneurs.
