MCKV boys declared 2nd Runner-Up in the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Quiz

With great joy we share the amazing piece of news that Team MCKV bagged the 3rd position in the quizzing event of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The fiesta is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of our country’s independence, and revisit the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements. The Inter-School Quiz Competition organized by the Office of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, West Bengal & Sikkim, on 11 April 2022, was a part of the ongoing grand festival.

The aim of the competition was to encourage awareness among students about the history of Taxation and the Culture of India. Raunak Mallick and Shubhankar Verma of Class 9 from MCKV participated in the event and bagged the second runner up position competing against 13 renowned schools of Kolkata. Our team put up a brilliant fight. It was a great learning experience for our boys.
