MCKV celebrates Saraswati Puja

Published on: 05 Feb 2022

Amidst the artistically done alpanas, the resonance of the conch shells, the chants of Vedic mantras, and rhythmic melodious devotional song, the MCKV community gathered to offer prayers to Goddess Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge, music, art, wisdom and nature, the dawn Goddess, whose rays dispel the darkness of ignorance.

The morning of 5th February, 2022 was distinguished by a festive aura all around. The  fragrance of flowers, the aroma of burning camphor, the brightly clad people filled the ambience of the school with peace and positivity. It was just the perfect occasion to honour those outstanding citizens of the nation who have dedicated their lives in the service of mankind. After all, at MCKV we believe that true worship is manifest through the acts of love and service that one shows one’s fellow beings. The School Management, as a part of its Silver Jubilee celebrations, felicitated Ms Tumtum Mukherjee, Mrs Sarita Purohit, Mrs Suchetna Roy, Mrs Pratima Poddar and Mr Soutrik Goswami, for the priceless role they have played to bring a positive change in the society. Their amazing contributions in different arenas of life is truly inspirational.

What better way to invoke the Goddess of creative energy, than acknowledge and recognize  her most ardent devotees!

As a part of the quadranscentennial anniversary festivities, MCKV had hosted Melange 2021, an inter-school mega event. The winners were awarded on this auspicious occasion. It was a privilege to have the representative of Aditya Academy Senior Secondary School, Dum Dum, Kolkata, with us to receive the trophy.
