On the occasion of the 163rd birth anniversary of the world poet, novelist, philosopher and nobel laureate, Rabindranath Tagore, the students of all sections of Class 5 presented a vibrant and culturally rich programme to honour his contributions in the fields of literature, music and art and embrace his teachings in their lives.
On 9 May 2024, Class 5 classrooms came alive with melodious rendition of popular songs composed by Tagore and soulful recitations of Tagore’s famous poems. An informative PowerPoint presentation exhibiting the life and works of Rabindranath Tagore was showcased to the students. The highlight of the programme was the immaculate impersonation of Tagore, transporting us all back in the early 20th century Bengal.
The short programme was an occasion to reflect on the enduring legacy of Tagore, thereby reaffirming the school's commitment to embody Tagore's ideals in the lives of our students.
