Teachers' Day 2024 Celebrations at MCKV

Teachers' Day was celebrated at M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth on 30 August 2024, as 5 September, the day on which it is traditionally observed, coincides with the schedule for the First Term exams. The  morning assembly of 30 August 2024 saw an incredible  classical instrumental presentation - a sarod recital  performed by Debosmit Mukhopadhyay, 4C and Debaditya Mukhopadhyay, 4A along with tabla accompaniment by Swapnil Bhattacharya, 5C. The assembly was graced by  Pandit Subhabrata Chatterjee, a renowned sarod player, Mr Kishan Kumar Kejriwal, Chairman, Mr Neelkantha Gupta, Director, Ms Mallika Mukherjee, Principal and  Mr Biswajit Majumdar, Headmaster.
Adding novelty to the day, senior students assumed the different roles that teachers perform all day long.

 A special cultural programme was presented by the students on the occasion.  Teachers were welcomed with a card and a pen, symbolizing the heartfelt thanks of all students for their dedication and guidance.The instrumental medley, the interactive guess who session, for the teachers, and the peppy dance performance were  thoroughly enjoyed by the audience.The celebratory cake-cutting ceremony, led by our teachers, was a moment to cherish.

Adding cheer to the afternoon, clad in monochrome hues, teachers walked the ramp. The musical extravaganza put together by the music department  aligning with the  retro theme of Teachers’ Day 2024, was a beautiful conclusion to a well-spent day.
