The 18th Installation Ceremony of Interact Club of M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth

On 23 August 2024, Interact Club of M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth celebrated its 18th Installation Ceremony, a significant occasion that marked the formal induction of the new board for the 2024-2025 term while honouring the remarkable contributions of the outgoing board.

The ceremony welcomed esteemed guests, including Chief Guest, Rotarian Arpita Chatterjee, District Interact Committee Chairperson, and Guest of Honour, Mr Anand Agarwal, President of the Rotary Club of Belur, along with Mr Kishan Kumar Kejriwal, Chairman, Mr Neelkantha Gupta, Director and Mr Abhay Kejriwal, Trustee.

The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, which was followed by the unveiling of the club’s annual newsletter, The Awakening, chronicling the club’s achievements of the last academic session.

Outgoing President, Itr. Pratham Baid, reviewed the Club’s successes, sharing highlights from his term 2023-2024 and ceremoniously passed the collar pin to incoming President Itr. Rishu Kumar Singh, symbolising the transfer of leadership. This transition was endorsed by Rotarian Arpita Chatterjee, who formally conferred the Interact Club Charter on the new President. The introduction of the new board was met with enthusiastic applause as each member received their badges of office from the dignitaries.

In his inaugural address, Rishu outlined his ambitious vision for the upcoming year, focusing on expanding the club’s impact. Chief Guest, Ms  Arpita Chatterjee in her address promoted the Interact movement, while, Guest of Honour, Mr Agarwal motivated the Club to join hands with Rotary Club of Belur in their future endeavour.  Director, Mr Neelkantha Gupta, highlighted the need to foster social responsibility among students emphasising that engaging in community service is an integral part of holistic education. This was followed by a vibrant dance performance culminating in a vote of thanks by Secretary, Itr. Neel Khandelwal, signalling the dawn of a promising new chapter for the Interact Club.
